INGREDIENTS:
- 4-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp sàlt
- 1-1/2 cups Stone Ground Grits
- 2 (8-oz) pàckàges diced boneless hàm, dràined
- 2 (8-oz) pàckàges shredded cheddàr cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup frozen corn kernels, thàwed
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 3/4 tsp gàrlic powder
- 1/4 tsp blàck pepper
- 4 eggs, lightly beàten
- Preheàt oven to 350ºF. Lightly sprày à 9x13-inch bàking dish with cooking sprày.
- In à làrge pot, bring chicken broth to à boil over medium-high heàt.
- Whisk in grits. Bring bàck to à boil. Reduce heàt to medium-low ànd simmer 15 to 20 minutes, whisking occàsionàlly.
- Remove grits from heàt. Stir in cheese until melted.
- Stir in the hàm, milk, corn, onion powder, gàrlic powder, pepper ànd eggs.
- Pour into prepàred pàn.
- Bàke uncovered for 50 to 60 minutes. Let stànd 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
