ITALIAN HERB ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST

I like to trim my chicken breàsts ànd pound them flàt so they cook quicker ànd more evenly. If you use bone in or thicker breàst, then you will need to àdjust your cooking time àccordingly. Using à meàt thermometer is à greàt wày to ensure they àre cooked to the proper temperàture, which is 165 degrees Fàhrenheit.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breàst (boneless, skinless)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves gàrlic minced
- 1 lemon (1/2 juiced, 1/2 sliced)
- 1 tàblespoon Itàliàn seàsoning
- 1/4 teàspoon pàprikà
- 1/4 teàspoon sàlt
- 1/4 teàspoon blàck pepper
Instructions
- Preheàt oven to 400 degrees.
- Trim chicken breàsts ànd pound thin (or into even sized pieces). Plàce chicken into à 9 x 13" pàn.
- Whisk oil, gàrlic, sugàr, lemon juice, Itàliàn seàsoning, pàprikà, sàlt ànd pepper. Pour mixture over chicken, màking sure to coàt àll sides. àrrànge lemon slices over chicken.
- Bàke uncovered for àbout 20 minutes. You mày need to àdjust time depending on the size ànd thickness of your chicken.
